caused pain to its surroundings?

I had a tooth pulled on Thursday (09/23/1910)
Since then, my teeth (near the site that had a tooth until it is removed) have been injured.
I have been taking Calpol, but has not helped ... I will try ibuprofen tablets and see if it helps.
But apart from the pain, is there another way to help with this problem?
How long will I have this pain?

Solution:

Take ibuprofen 400 600 mg every 6 hours, and acetaminophen (Tylenol) 500 mg every 6 hours, alternating so you are taking one or the other every 3 hours. This works best for pain. You may have pain for a week or so after the extraction. If it is a molar, which could have "dry socket", which is very painful and can last a month. If it still hurts for more than a week to see the dentist.
